Rogers Simmons

Rogers Simmons of Bellamy, AL was born on July 19, 1945 and passed away on November 9, 2016. Rogers was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Cox Simmons; a son, Christopher Scott Simmons; his father, R. C. Simmons; and his sister, Patricia Creel Brewster. Rogers is survived by his mother, Margie Simmons of Bellamy, AL; his son, Curtis Ray (Darlene) Simmons of Bellamy, AL; his two daughters, Karen Simmons (Jay) Sewell of Linden, AL and Louise (Roger) Thomas of Tuscaloosa, AL; his brother, Roland (Mary Jane) Simmons of Forest, MS; 13- grandchildren; 18- great-grandchildren; and 1-great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Don Simmons, Larry Simmons, Ronald Simmons, Bobby Creel, Justin Watt, and Hunter Thornton. Honorary Pallbearers are Grandsons: Glenn Beason, Matt Green, Corey Green, Christopher Green, Dalton Rosamond, Drake Rosamond, Jacob Turner, Jaxon Bobo, Christopher Sewell, Leslie Sewell, Tate Hawkins, Alan Brown, and Justin Stewart. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Centreville. Graveside Service and Burial will follow at 12:00 PM at Centreville Memorial Cemetery with Rockco Funeral Home directing and Rev. Joe Simmons officiating.
