Steve loved to hunt, fish, drag race and brag on his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Hester of Brent, AL; son, Chad Hester(Jennifer) of Pinnacle, NC; daughter, Stephanie Kolodziej(O.J.) of Alabaster, AL; grandchildren, Evan and Eva Kolodziej; mother, Lorene Clark of Aliveville, AL; brother, Dexter Hester of Pickensville, AL; sisters, Lana Griffin of Hoover, AL and Bonita Hamlin of Aliceville, AL. He is preceded in death by his father, John "Buddy" Hester.
