Arleena Till Shaw

Arleena Till Shaw, 51, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully from a heart attack on January 4, 2025. She was a breast cancer survivor. Arleena Joy was born on August 13,1973 at Lakeside Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana to Gwendolyn (Moore) and the late Jerry Mack Till. She was a resident of St. Bernard Parish until her early 20’s.

Arleena is survived by her husband, Alfred Shaw, her mother and stepfather, Gwendolyn and Vance Moore, her sister, Wendee Till Bloom, two nephews, Landon Max Bloom and Wyatt Grayson Bloom, along with a host of loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Mack Till.

The funeral, officiated by Arleena’s stepfather Pastor Vance Moore, will be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens, 701 Virtue Street, Chalmette, Louisiana 70043, at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 18, 2025 with visitation held one hour prior to the funeral service at 9:00 am. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
