

Blondel Ducote Musso of Chalmette, LA passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 77. Blondel was born on March 1, 1945. She was born and raised in Avoyelles Parish and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. Blondel was the loving wife to her devoted husband Joseph Musso Sr.; loving mother to Joseph Musso Jr. and his wife Wendy Musso; caring grandmother to Logan Musso; proud sister of Janet Gauthier (the late A.G Gauthier); aunt to Darlene Georgusis, Kelly Gauthier (Michelle), Michael Gauthier (Deana); sister-in-law to Lynn Musso, Joyce Fourcade (the late Johnny Fourcade), Mary Hebert (Billy), Carol Bosch (Steve). She leaves behind a host of great nieces and nephews. She preceded in death by her parents, Hernandez and Eunice Ducote; her brother Joseph Ducote and her brother-in-law Anthony Musso.
Blondel was a graduate of John McDonogh High School and worked as a bookkeeper in accounting at Wiser Security. Her hobbies consisted of riding bicycles, gardening, crabbing, fishing and camping. She will be dearly missed by all that loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 9:00AM- 11:00AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
