Bobby Jack Hudson Sr.

Bobby Jack Hudson, 89, of Kenner passed away on Sunday April 12, 2026, at Peristyle Residence, Beau Maison, Metairie. Mr. Hudson (He) was born on 9/23/1936 in Cherry Valley, Ark. to Alton D. and Offie D. Holley Hudson. He retired from ABF Freight Lines, where he was a truck driver. After that he obtained a Real Estate License and sold Real Estate for about 15 years. He was an avid reader, loved watching Westerns and going to the Casino.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Shirley Lehmann Hudson; his brothers, Wilbur Hudson, Earl Hudson, John Hudson; and his sister Linda Hudson Orman.

Survivors are his son Bobby J. Hudson Jr. (Vickie) and his daughter Cheryl Hudson Lacoste (Chris); 5 grandchildren: Chad Hudson, Jason Lacoste (Lori), Brandy Driskill (Brian), Brian Lacoste, and Christi Koenig (Jordan); 7 Great grandchildren: Allie Lacoste, Landon Lacoste, Leah Lacoste, Brylee Driskill, Brenna Driskill, Piper Hudson, and Abigail Koenig. His brothers: Julius "J.E." Hudson (Regina) and Fred Hudson (Cheryl) and his special niece Johnita Brewer (Milton). Also survived by several other nieces & nephews.

A special thank you to his caretakers at Beau Maison and Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care and support during his final days.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, April 17th from 12:00PM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00PM. He will be laid to eternal rest at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
