Carol L. James, age 79 years old, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS. Beloved wife of the late Robert C. James. Loving mother of Jo Ellen Ross (Billy), Cindy Lou Frolich (Neal Smith), George L. James, and David L. James (Brenda Wheeler). Grandmother of Cory James Juneau (Sarah Walley), Jeremy David James, and Jessica L. Bryant. Great grandmother of Blake, Ethan, and Evelyn. Daughter of the late George and Clara Schaffer. Sister of the late Josephine Kelly (the late Bob). Also survived by Estelle Stigler, who she cared for as a daughter. Mrs. James was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in New Orleans, LA and was a retired Lunch Lady from St. Paul’s Lutheran School after 342,000 tacos and 25 years of service. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM.
