Catherine Rita Miller Feraci

Catherine Rita Miller Feraci passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the age of 85. Loving mother of Salvador Feraci Jr. (Shirley), Gerard Feraci (Denise), Michael Feraci and Patrick Feraci (Maureen). Former wife of the late Salvador Feraci Sr. Daughter of the late William and Catherine Ross Miller. Sister of the late Alice “Joy” St. Romain and Lenora Bayhi. Proud grandmother of Joshua, Sara, Sam, Nicolas, Natalie, Elizabeth, Joseph, Mallory, Heath, Dominique and Jacob. Great grandmother of Hannah, Allison, Chad, Emma, Bess, Luke, Eleanor, Avery, Eleanor and Oliver. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Catherine was a native of New Orleans, LA and was raised in the Irish Channel. She was a long time resident of St. Bernard Parish. Catherine was a member of the Honky Tonk Stompers and loved to dance. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and as recently as this past Thanksgiving she was playing ping pong and jump roping with her sons and grandchildren. Catherine was strong in her faith and was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chalmette, LA. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at OUR LADY OF PROMPT SUCCOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1.
