Christopher Robert Ruiz

Christopher Robert Ruiz, born November 3, 1963, went home with God on June 4, 2014 at 10:00 o’clock in the morning at the age of 50. Chris was the beloved husband of Angie C. Ruiz. Chris and Angie were partners of 30 years but also lifelong friends. He was the proud and loving father of Joshua J. Ciuffi, Stephen J. Ciuffi and Christopher Seruntine. Chris was the brother of Warren Ruiz (Simone), Murphy Ruiz (Beth), Lola Bryant, Peter Ajan III, Samantha Ajan, Tina Caserta (Peter) and the late Howard Matthew Bryant. He was the son of Leola Ajan and the late Robert Ruiz Jr., Step son of the late Peter Ajan and son-in-law of Adam J. Ciuffi, Sr. Chris was the brother-in-law of Brittany Ciuffi, Adam “Bubba” J. Ciuffi, Jr. (Nanette) and the late Cheryl Ciuffi. Chris and Bubba were also best friends and coworkers. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and his beloved pets, Baby, Maddie and Gigi.

Chris was loved greatly by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all of those he touched. He will remain in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
