Mr. Cody Codyman Michael Graves

Cody Michael Graves passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the age of 24 due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was the beloved son of Peggy Fricke Dalon and Jerry Graves Jr. Brother of Dennis Dalon Jr. (Kristy), Nickelous Dalon, Daniel Landry III, Magan Carlisle (Bobby), Dylan Graves, Erica Graves (Phillip Lirette) and the late Crystal Dalon. Grandson of Myra George (the late James), Jerry Graves, Wanda Haase (George) and the late Merlin Fricke Jr. Great grandson of Rita Roane. Uncle of Sophie Cone, Trystn Lirette, Alexia Carlisle, Crystal Dalon, Annalisa Dalon and Marcy Dalon. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and dear friends. Cody was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Tylertown, MS following Hurricane Katrina. Cody studied at Southwest MS Community College and USM. Among his friends, he was known as a history buff who was well read, loved to write, enjoyed Anime and Harry Potter. He was well loved by us all, and affectionately known for his good nature and generous heart. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, February 23rd from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Cody’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial gardens.
