Constance “Connie” Seo Laneri died on April 2, 2022 at Colonial Oaks Living Center of natural causes at the age of 97. Connie was a longtime resident of Chalmette, LA until Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She was born on January 12, 1925 to Lawrence Seo and Tillie Viso Seo in New Orleans, LA. Connie attended and graduated from St. Mary’s Italian School in the French Quarter. She married Albert John Laneri on October 26, 1947 and were together for 48 years until his death in 1995. They had two children, Connie Laneri Lensmyer (Gilbert) and Wayne Laneri West. After raising her children Connie returned to full- time work and spent many enjoyable years as a secretary for Holy Cross Middle School in New Orleans.
Connie is survived by her two children; her nieces, Carol Seo and Melva Duhon and her nephew Louis Seo. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brother Alfred Seo.
