Danielle Judith Roig Kestler

Danielle Roig Kestler passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at the young age of 48. Danielle is survived by her husband, George Peri Kestler, Jr., and her children, Alexa Danielle Kestler and Trent Kestler, as well as her stepdaughter, Brittany Michelle Kestler and granddaughter, Sidney Kate Romano. Danielle was the daughter of James Robert Roig and Susan Barone Roig and the sister of Darren James Roig (Starnell), Dean Joseph Roig (Kim), and the late Derek John Roig. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Danielle was born on October 18, 1969 in St. Bernard. She lived most of her life in St. Bernard Parish but later moved to Madisonville where she was presently residing. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1987 and attended LSU Health Science Center where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Danielle was a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will forever be remembered by her family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, LA on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Danielle's life.
