Debra Theresa Mullet

Debra T. Mullet, 63, passed away on February 19, 2022, in Alexandria, Louisiana. She is survived by her husband, Edwin A. Mullet III; her children, Sean K. Laiche, Mallorie Hunt (married to Cody A. Hunt), and Chrystal A. Green (married to James E. Green); her grandchildren, Sean K. Laiche Jr., Kayla M.

Laiche, Deacon Stander, Faith Juneau, Chad Juneau Jr., Abbigail Hunt, and Laiken Green; great-grandchildren, Conner Laiche, Skylar Laiche, and Jazmine Laiche; her siblings, Barbara Deograoias, Ludy Duncan, Mary Catalanotto, Joseph Vicknair, Johnny Vicknair, and Mark Vicknair. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Arielle and Dorothy Vicknair; by her brothers, the late Mike Vicknair Sr., Thomas “TJ” Vicknair, and Peter Vicknair.

Debra was born in New Orleans to Arielle Vicknair and Dorothy Vicknair on June 23, 1958. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, married Edwin Mullet, III on May 5, 1985, in St. Bernard Parish, and was a long time employee of Ditto’s Copy Center, in Chalmette.

Debra was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, February 28, 2022, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A service will be held in her memory at 1:00 PM.
