Florence Helen Macheca Prattini passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the age of 86. She was the cherished wife of the late Emile Emmett Prattini Sr. for 49 years. Loving mother of Florence Prattini Rodriguez (Norbert), Emile Emmett Prattini Jr. (Sally), Chris Anthony Prattini (Jeannine) and Mickey Charles Prattini (Nancy). Daughter of the late Joseph and Odelia Greiner Macheca. Sister of the late Rosemary Guerra, Shirley Pizzitolo and Paul Caranek. Sister-in-Law of Rose Catherine Prattini. Proud grandmother of Richard Armond Jr., Leslie Pelezo, Beau Armond, Meaghan Prattini, Christopher Prattini, Christina Prattini, Gina Prattini, Rocky Prattini, Mickey Prattini Jr., Marc Prattini, Brian Prattini and Jill DeBouchel. Great grandmother of Justin Armond, Matthew Armond, Joshua Armond, Ryan Armond, Emilie Pelezo, Tristan Reeb, Caris Prattini, Zachary Prattini, Courtney Prattini, Matthew Prattini,

Leah Reeb and Anthony Prattini. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Florence was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was a member of the St. Bernard Cripple Children Society and the Green Thumb Garden Club. Florence will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories, Metairie, LA. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
