Frances Sullivan Allain

It is with great sadness that the family of Frances Sullivan Allain announce her passing on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the age of 80. She is survived by her three children, Andrew Paul Allain (Laura), Lynne Allain Murphy (Shaun) and Michelle Allain Billiot (Eddie). She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John Paul Allain, her father, Ernest Emerson and her mother, Catherine Schneider Sullivan Emerson, and son, Douglas John Allain.

Frances was born on November 28, 1940 in Contoocook, New Hampshire and a resident of St. Bernard Parish since 1963. She had a beautiful relationship with every member of her family, and her love extended to traveling, being a nurse and attending sporting and dancing events of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends and all of those whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private. Due to COVID-19, face masks are required.
