Gary Alan Kelly Sr.

It is with great sorrow that on March 20, 2022 at 6:48PM Gary Alan Kelly Sr. was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 70 after a long and painful battle against Multiple Sclerosis. His final days were spent surrounded by his family and friends. Gary was born on February 10, 1952 to the late Anna Melerine Kelly and the late Adam Terrence Kelly. He was the beloved husband of Vicki Sylvera Kelly for 49 years. Loving father of Kristi (Ron) Navarro, Amy (Robbie) LeBouef and Gary Kelly Jr. Proud paw-paw of Cody Navarro, Cali Navarro, Chloe Navarro, Sophia LeBouef, Ellie LeBouef and Beau LeBouef. Caring brother of Russell (Pheobe) Kelly and the late Terry Kelly. He is survived and fondly remembered by cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Gary resided most of his life in St. Bernard Parish. He spent most of his days in Delacroix Island where he worked as a commercial fisherman and built his own boats. He truly loved being out on the water fishing, crabs or shrimping. He was a die-hard Saints fan and season ticket holder for over 30 years. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 11:00AM- 1:00PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00PM. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CEMETERY.
