Glenn David Bertucci

Glenn David Bertucci, a Chalmette resident, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Glenn was known for his practical jokes, his famous "fart" gas gun, and his daily calls to check on Harlye, Paige and his Godchild, Colton. He provided his family with loads of laughs. He also enjoyed cooking, fishing, and hunting. Glenn was also a retired gifted mechanic who really enjoyed watching car races and playing with "Mann" (his dog). Of course, we could not forget his "elephant butt" - Natty and Rowan. He was so proud of Natty's recent graduation.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Leatrice and Peter Bertucci, and his siblings Peter Bertucci, Jr. and Ann Vinet.

He was known in the family as "Uncle Perfect," because he was the perfect match - providing stem cells to his sister, Ann. Glenn was also an excellent cook.

He is survived by his sisters: Sandra Reuther (John), Judy Willett (Darrell), Diane Fitzgerald (Phil) and Karen Laurent; His nieces and nephews: Michelle Williams, Peter Bertucci III, Eric Schloegel Jr., Ben Williams, David Williams, Joseph Reuther (Brandy), Amy Schloegel (Dana), Jessica Mackles (Bebe), Shannon Vinet (Bianca), Lee Laurent and Ryder Benoit. He also had a host of great nieces and nephews. He was affectionately known for his good nature and generous heart, and provided so much love and laughter to his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, March 6th from 9:00AM - 11:00AM, followed by a celebration of Glenn's life beginning at 11:00AM. He will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
