Jerry Paul Troxclair Sr. passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on September 12, 1940, and was a longtime resident of Meraux, Louisiana. Jerry lived with a distinctive spirit that made him memorable to all who knew him.
Jerry was known for being uniquely himself. He approached life in his own way and remained true to his beliefs and principles. Those who knew him appreciated his strong sense of identity and the sincerity with which he lived. His deep patriotism was one of his most defining qualities. He took great pride in displaying the American flag and speaking about the values that were important to him.
Jerry was devoted to his family and community. He expressed his care through his actions and his dependable presence, standing firmly for what he believed in and supporting those close to him.
He is survived by his children, Jerry Troxclair Jr. and Rebecca Troxclair, as well as his granddaughter Brooke Beucler and great-granddaughter Sloan Beucler Lane. He is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene, and his mother, June. Jerry leaves behind a life marked by dedication and individuality. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
