Johnny Ray Lemoine

Johnny Ray Lemoine passed away peacefully on Monday, July 5, 2021 at the age of 60. He was a loving father to his only child, Jessica Lemoine Cole (Ryan). Proud grandfather to William Scott Cole and Thomas Ray Cole. Son of the late Clovis Pierre Lemoine and Geneva Bordelon Lemoine. Brother of Rodney Lemoine (Kathy) and the late Kerry Lemoine. Uncle of Louis Lemoine (Kristy), Wendy Lemoine Fabares (Drake), Michelle Lemoine, Jared Lemoine and Jenna Lemoine. Great uncle of Drake and Gabrielle Fabares, Kelsey Laris and Sophia Cuadros. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Johnny was born October 26, 1960 in Cottonport, LA and resided in St. Bernard Parish most of his life before settling in Covington, LA. He was a devoted and respected employee of the Mechanical Equipment Company for over 40 years. Johnny found pleasure in the details of everyday life and cared deeply for his friends and family. He spent his final years fulfilling his love for discovering and learning new and challenging things, reminding us that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He was well loved and will be deeply missed by his family and by all those whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, July 17th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a memorial service in Johnny’s memory beginning at 1:00PM.
