Joyce Campsen Robichaux

Joyce Campsen Robichaux passed away peacefully on November 13, 2016 at the age of 84. She was the cherished wife of 54 years to the late Charles Gerard Robichaux. Loving mother of Rory Robichaux (husband of Mary) and Kathy Palmisano (wife of Robert). Daughter of the late Charles and Clementine Lang Campsen. Sister of the late Mae Rita Howe, CJ Campsen, Shirley Zeiler and Fred Campsen. Sister-in-Law of Carol Robichaux, CJ Robichaux and the late Clifford Robichaux. Proud grandmother of Scott Robichaux, Chad Robichaux, Rachael Palmisano and Stephen Palmisano. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Joyce was born in New Orleans, LA and was a current resident of Roswell, GA. She had the most beautiful smile that would light up the room. She cherished her time spent with family and friends and loved celebrating Mardi Gras. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren as a loving and giving mother and grandmother. In her later years that brought her to Atlanta, she enjoyed traveling and discovering new things with her husband and family. She was well loved by all and will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, November 22nd from 9:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Joyce’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
