Ken David Acosta, at the age of 56, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, November 13, 2015. Ken was born in New Orleans to his mother, Gloria A. Acosta, and his father, Herman V. Acosta, Jr. He is survived by his three brothers, Keith (Brenda), Eric (Karen), and Boyd (Robin). Ken had Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins, all of whom he loved dearly. Ken was a devoted friend to the Gioe Family: Noelle, Gina, Jeanne, Jamie, Toni Ann, Lacey, and the late Lucien Gioe. Ken was an accomplished horseman working throughout his life as a jockey, agent, and thoroughbred trainer. His last days were spent doing what he loved, training horses.
