Kirk Joseph Topey passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the age of 44. Beloved husband of the late Michele Barletto Topey. Loving father of Justin Topey (Rebekah) and Ashley Nation (Clinton). Stepfather of Amber Everett. Son of Carroll and Janice Richard Topey. Brother of Troy Topey (Amy). Uncle of Tyler Topey, Ashley Robino, Leighton Topey and Kylie Topey. Proud grandfather of Landon Stasney, Rylee Topey, Brayen Nation, Brantley Topey and Kinsley Nation.
Kirk was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and an employee of Folgers Coffee for 16 years. He enjoyed all sports, especially Cub’s baseball and was a huge Bon Jovi fan. Kirk will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
