Lillian Mae Faxon

Lillian Mae Burtanog Faxon fell asleep peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on November 16, 2014. She was a native of New Orleans, resident of Picayune Mississippi and long time resident of Chalmette, Louisiana. Daughter of Walter N. Burtanog, Sr. of Mobile AL, and Lillian Martinez Burtanog of New Orleans, beloved wife of Malcolm H. Faxon, Sr. She is reunited in death with siblings Benita Rodriguez, Audrey King, Walter Burtanog Jr., Carroll Burtanog and her eldest son Dudley J. Richoux and son-in-law Rene Falgoust . She leaves behind her sister Joyce Pascual (Rumio), her children Wayne A. Richoux (Crystal), Rhonda L. Richoux, Darla F. Davis (Clayton), Tracy F. Falgoust, Malcolm Faxon Jr. (Lisa) and Todd A. Faxon (Jennifer). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Stacy (Jed), Nicole (George), David (Jessica), Derek (Shalina), Shannon (Joshua), Lauren (Taylor), Clayton, Justin, Ashley, Brandon, Brook, Riley, Lisa (Noah), Oliver (Brittany) and Michael (Jennifer), plus 20 great-grandchildren, including Tristan, Aaliyah and Madden who were a comfort to her in her final days, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 10:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery.
