

Louise Ann Hingle, born in New Orleans, LA on October 24, 1939 and passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Louise married the love of her life, Omer Louis Hingle on September 4, 1957. Omer and Louise were married for 64 years until Omer’s death on August 1, 2021. Louise’s life has been the source of much love and joy to all who knew her. Her death is a great loss to her loving family. She is survived by her two sons Chet Hingle (Darlene), Ken Hingle (Nicole), as well as her four grandchildren, Jared Hingle (Angie), Ross Hingle, CJ Hingle and Chelsey Hingle. She is also survived by her four siblings, Deborah Hingle, Marie Gonzales, Sybil Pecar and Merlin Prosper (Necia). She is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Louise worked for the St. Bernard School System for over 30 years, as well as serving as a substitute teacher and a school bus driver for special children. Louise was so proud to have received the award from the St. Louis King of France from St. Louise Cathedral for all the volunteer work she did for over 30 years at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Violet, LA. She also enjoyed a long and active participation as a member of the Elks Auxiliary Club. Louise was well loved by us all, and will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2621 Colonial Blvd, Violet, LA on Tuesday, November 8th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 12:00PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
