Marie Marquet

Mrs. Marquet was the wife of the late Edward J. Marquet, to whom she was married for 58 years; daughter of the late Antonio and Marie Sparacio; mother of Jeanne Marquet Baudier (wife of Albert), Ismay M. Marquet, Edward J. Marquet III (husband of Mae), and Eliska Marquet Cole (wife of Bob); grandmother of Glori LaCombe, Joy Fabre, Albert Baudier, Jr., Rachel Marquet, Philipp Marquet, Jean-Pierre Marquet, and Ruth Marquet; great-grandmother of 11; sister of the late Katie, Johnny, Joseph, Luke and Sam; aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Marquet was a member of Amazing Love Church of River Ridge, La.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Canon Hospice for the loving care given to Ms. Marie during her illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Mrs. Marquet will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
