Matilda T. Berry passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. She was 87 years old. She was the loving mother of Gwen Price. Sister of Anita Dazet. Aunt of Siro B. Soto and David Sepulveda. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Bobbie Jo Berry; by her parents, the late Maria and Juan Toledo; and by her siblings, the late Rosemary Soto and Jessie Alvarez. Matilda was much loved and will be fondly remembered by all those she leaves behind. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in her memory at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Matilda's name to the Humane Society, or an animal welfare organization of your choice.
