He was the beloved son of Le Nguyen and Thinh Thi Nguyen, and a caring brother to Ashley Nga Nguyen, Thuy Duong Nguyen, My Nguyen, Diana Nguyen, and Viet Nguyen. Devoted husband of Katherine Nguyen. Together, they raised three children - Ethan, Jensen, and Abigail Nguyen - who were the pride and joy of his life.
Matthew was born in Vietnam and made his home in New Orleans, LA, where he built a life centered on family, love, and dedication. He found his greatest joy in being with his children, creating lasting memories through simple but meaningful moments - whether it was a trip to the park, a visit to Barnes & Noble or a fun-filled day at the arcade.
He was a loving and devoted son who cared deeply for his parents and siblings, always finding ways to support them and show his appreciation, often by bringing everyone together over meals at their favorite restaurants. Matthew was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his work, approaching everything he did with determination and pride.
Above all, Matthew had a heart of gold. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and give back to his community in times of need. His kindness, strength and warmth touched so many lives, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He will be missed beyond measure, loved beyond words, and remembered in every heart he touched.
