Patricia Ann Langsford

She was also the wife of the late Alvin A. Mones(1956-1964). She is survived by her two children Theresa Mones & Wayne Mones (Dana) stepson Harold M. DeLouise, Jr. (Catherine/Sisey).

Grandmother of Jamie Metzler (Marcus), Wayne Mones II, & Brandi Wyatt (James). Great grandmother of Tre’ Mones, Xander Yates, & Crider Wyatt.

Daughter of the late Walter Langsford Sr. & Rose Deffes Langsford. She is preceded in death by her siblings Walter Langsford Jr, Warren Langsford, Rosemary DeGrado, Grace Ledford, Harold Langsford, and Daniel Langsford. Patricia is also survived and fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Faith was the foundation of Patricia’s life, guiding her actions and shaping the way she cared for others. She gave generously of her time, helping to create and visit St. Joseph Altars, and found comfort and companionship among friends in the St. Peter and Paul Widows Club.

Patricia had a gift for embracing life’s simple joys. She was an incredible cook who brought family and friends together around her table, where stories were told and laughter & love were always in abundance. She found peace in her garden and joy in her arts and crafts, but above all, her greatest happiness came from her family. Nothing surpassed the love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her pride could be seen in her eyes, felt in her warm hugs and in the way she spoke their names with such love and tenderness.

The love Patricia shared with each of us will be remembered as lasting gift. It reminds us to cherish every day, to find beauty in small moments and to hold our loved ones close. She showed us what it truly means to care deeply and live fully.

Rest in peace, our dear Patricia. You were so deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by us all. Your spirit lives on in the memories we hold, the traditions you cherished, and the love you instilled in all of us.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, April 9th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Patricia’s memory beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
