Patricia “Pat” Wright Pruitt passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the age of 72. She died peacefully at her home in Kenner surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of James J. Pruitt for the past 47 years. Sister of Calvin Wright and Sandra Wright. Sister-in-law of Suzanne Vodanovich & George Vodanovich and Kim Campbell and Leo Campbell.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wright and Emma Gibson Wright; beloved sister Pauline Cook and her husband Harold Cook; brothers, Gene Wright and Glenn Wright.
Pat leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Pat was an employee of the Times-Picayune for 35 years until she retired in 2005. She will be forever loved and missed by her loving husband, James and all of those who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
