Randy Scott Sevin

Randy Scott Sevin passed away at his home on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the age of 41. He was the cherished husband of Bridget Barbaro Sevin for 11 years. Loving father of Samantha Sevin, James Barbaro (Toni) and Jordin Barbaro (Kurt). Son of Carrol Rogers Sevin and the late Robert Joseph Sevin Sr. Son-in-Law of Patricia Barbaro and the late Richard Barbaro. Grandson of the late Louis & Shirley Sevin and Herman & Lou Rogers. Brother of Robert Sevin Jr. (Victoria) and the late Richard “Hook” Sevin. Brother-in-Law of Angela Kinler (Joe), Rickey Barbaro and Jason Barbaro (Michelle). Proud grandfather of Falynn Barbaro, Ryleigh Barbaro and Everleigh Barbaro. Uncle of Brooke, Kallie, Macie and Griffin Sevin, Alisha Robin, Joey Kinler, Rebekah and Sarah Barbaro. Godson of Marie Couture and Michael Sevin. Godfather of Brooke Sevin and Chris Assevedo Jr. Also survived by aunts, uncles, great friends and his beloved furever friends Laila and Pierre.

Randy was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish until 2005 and a current resident of Bush, LA. Prior to Hurricane Katrina he was an active member of Praise Temple Fellowship in Violet, LA. He enjoyed fishing and loved the outdoors but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren. Randy was always helping others and would frequently donate blood to The Blood Center. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM and on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
