I miss you my friend. So many memories, so many happy funny moments.  To hell and back we have traveled, even made the world a better place you and I. A finer hero there will never be. A more honorable friend there will never be as well as a kinder soul. My heart sheds a tear for your family and everyone touched by your generous soul. All my love, Lil' Daddy !!

My deepest  condolences  to the Mandola family. I knew Raymond  from EMS.He was a great guy and will be missed.And I know  as a United States Marine  Veteran, He will be guarding the gates of heaven. Lord,shadow with your loving care The path of this Marine, On land,on sea,by night,by day,From him all dangers screen. The Leathernecks of God, brave men. The soldiers of the sea. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

I am so sad to hear of Raymond's passing! Maddog always brought humor and laughter to a job usually filled with sadness. He was such a genuinely nice person and larger than life.
Maddog, you were one of a kind and a true legend. You will be missed by all and never forgotten. Rest easy friend!

For all of Ray's popularity he was also one of the nicest guys around.  I was the biggest noob at CHS, arriving there for senior year only, but Ray treated me like a lifelong friend that year.  I loved that dude and his passing leaves me very sad.

Let us in our hearts and minds remember Ray, our brother on the Earth, and now in spirit.  We will miss you Ray, your warm smile, your kind and gregarious character, and your faithful friendship.

I would like to extend my DEEPEST condolences to Raymond Mad Dog Mandola's family and co-workers. Serving as a medic in the same area we have crossed paths many times, even though never as close to each other as many of the same colleagues, only extends to me that you were well respected as a mentor, role model, and a dear friend (even to strangers). Those of us from the older years can only continue your legacy to do the best for those in need as well as those unable to do it for themselves.

I don't know where to begin. I can't believe he's really gone. I thought he would live forever. I thought he was invincible. My eyes keep leaking, and I'm heartbroke. We would be apart for months, then he would appear, with that warm hug and infectous smile, and I was in love all over again. I don't have the words to convey the magnitude of the hole in my heart. Find my dad, intro him to NIKO, and you Jarheads try to stay out of trouble!  You have no idea the lives you touched, and the impact you have had on each one of us! I LOVE YOU DAWG!
