It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Henry, a beloved husband, grandfather, and friend. Richard departed this life surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear. He was the loving husband to Ollie Marie Henry. Proud stepfather to Sandra Lange. Caring grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother to Betty Henry and Barbara Hebert. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rita Henry and Louis Henry; his siblings, Patricia Hebert and Anthony Henry.
Richard was a man of great character, known for his generous spirit and warm heart. He touched the lives of many with his wisdom, humor, and steadfast love. Whether through his words or his actions, he always put others before himself, embodying the true meaning of compassion and selflessness. Among those who feel his loss most profoundly is his devoted wife, Ollie Henry. Their bond was one of deep love, admiration, and unwavering devotion. Richard was not only a part of Ollie’s life—he was her heart, her home, and her greatest love. He was her source of strength, her safe place, and her joy. The love they shared was rare and beautiful, filled with laughter, understanding, and a lifetime of treasured moments. Ollie’s heart aches in his absence, but she holds tight to the countless memories they created together. Though he is no longer physically by her side, his love surrounds her still, in every quiet moment, in every whispered memory, and in every beat of her heart. Richard’s absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his life serves as a reminder of the power of love and the impact one person can have on so many. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Richard. You are loved beyond measure and missed beyond words. Your love will forever live on in Ollie’s heart, where it will remain for all eternity.
