My thoughts and prayers are with Roxie's family.  Lots of fun memories.  Roxie was one of a kind and will be truly missed by all who knew her.

I love you Roxie. We had a friendship so strong that death cannot end. Hope I am good enough to meet you in Heaven one day. We'll have a rootbeer together! God bless you my friend!

Roxie was my best friend for years while we both worked at NOPD, but as the years went on she became much more to me, she became part of my family. She was always there for. Always ready to help or just listen to my problems with a sympathetic ear. We spoke almost every day and talking to her was always a great part of my day. When I felt low or had a problem I wanted to talk about , she was the one I would want to call. She struggled with mobility and various illness in recent years, but always pushed ahead in life. I will also always remember her fierce love for family and friends. If you had a friend like Roxie, you were truly blessed by God. I know in my heart she is at peace, no more pain and is with God now and I take some comfort in that knowledge. But I miss my friend dearly and always will. Roxie use to end our conversations sometimes by saying, don't forget me. If you knew Roxie you knew she was unforgettable. Roxie, I didn't get to say goodbye and I will always regret that. I hope to see you one day again. Until then I will think of you everyday and smile because I know you would want it that way. Roxie I love you and always will. May the good Lord bless your sweet soul and give you a hug in Heaven.

I AM ROXIES COUSIN ... I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN THIRTY YEARS ..I CALLED HER SIX MONTHS AGO... AND ASKED IF I COULD PICK HER UP  AND GO TO LUNCH... SHE SAID SHE WASN'T IN THE MOOD.. SHE  HAS ALL WAYS BEEN SO SWEET TO ME ... I KNOW THE LORD IS WITH HER NOW...  YOU HAVE MY LOVE... GOOD BY COUSIN....
