William Louis Dewint, Jr. passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, at the age of 81. He was the cherished husband of 50 years to the late Brenda Schurr Dewint; loving father of William Louis Dewint, III, Dean Anthony Dewint (late Juanita) and Charles Joseph Dewint (Tina.) Grandfather of Dillian Paul Joseph Dewint, Kelsey Marie Dewint, Trent Anthony Dewint and Savanna Leah Dewint. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Bernice and William Dewint. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, June 13, 2022, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held in his memory at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
