Gladys E. Cooper

Gladys Evelyn Cooper, 92, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015.She was born on April 26, 1923, in Mercersburg to the late Ross and Elva Weller. Gladys was married for 36 years to Maeford L. Cooper, who passed away in 1978.She loved to play bingo and watch baseball and golf.

Gladys is survived by a daughter, Kim Guyer and husband Gary of Florence, AZ; son, Gary Cooper of Chambersburg, PA; grandson, Matthew Cooper of Chambersburg, PA; son, Wayne Cooper of Chambersburg, PA; granddaughter, Kia Weber and Husband Ian of Willow Street, PA; brother, Leonard Weller and

wife Ruby of St. Thomas, PA; sister, Patricia Rockwell and husband Harry of Greencastle, PA; and two great-granddaughters, Aly and Emy Weber. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Nelson and George Weller; and two sisters, Pauline Arnold and Kathleen Angle.

Services will be held at the Robert L. Hendricks Funeral Home, 3218 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201 on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Parklawns Memorial Garden immediately after the service. Chaplain Bruce Hansen will be the officiant. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 1 p.m. under the direction of Robert L. Hendricks Funeral Home Inc., Chambersburg, PA.
