Isabel Grace Overcash

Born October 19, 1939 in Shippensburg, to the late Walter and Margaret (Myers) Hock.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Overcash; sisters, Thelma and Verna Hock; brothers, Raymond and Mervin Hock; sister in-law, Isabelle Louise Hock; and her daughter in-law Kimberly Kaye.

Surviving Isabel are her sons, Stephen Ray and Darcy Alan Overcash and his daughter Jessica Overcash and great grandchild Eli Shipp; her daughter, AnnaJo (Martin E.) Kurz; grandchildren, Drake Kurz, Lindsey (Jeremey) Stine; sisters Julia (Charles) Bowman, Rosalie (Larry) Tarman, Janet (Michael) Ordway and Brenda (Steve) Kaufman; brother Rev. Walter (Joye) Hock and sister in-law Deb Hock.

Isabel was a member of the New Franklin Assembly of God where she served numerous years on the church board and played piano and the organ. She was devoted to God and to her family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday May 24, 2021 at 11:00am at the New Franklin Assembly of God; 2355 New Franklin Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the funeral service. Burial services will be held in Parklawns Memorial Gardens; 3218 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201. After the burial there will be a reception back at New Franklin Assembly of God.
