

A Korean War Veteran, Al proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a Master Mechanic who worked for Asarco and Southern Peru Mining Company. He was an innovative inventor who loved golf and watching CNN News.
Al is survived by daughter, Sandra Carrillo (Ben); sons, Samuel “Sam” Sandoval and Alfredo “Al” Sandoval, Jr.; grandchildren, Samantha Sandoval (Matthew), Justin Sandoval (Jill) and Alex Carrillo (Lisa); great-grandchildren, Evelyn (9), Claire (6), Benjamin (3), Skylar (9), Kyleigh (7); his sisters, Lala (Orbin), Hortensia (Gabriel), Mary (George); and brothers, Francisco (Lucy), Rafael (Mary Rose), Fernando, Randolfo (MaryLou).
Al is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Maria De Lourdes (Lou) Sandoval.

We have been blessed to have our Son, Bother, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather for 92 years. He served his country as a United States Marine during the Korean War. His dedication has been a blessing to all of us. All our love and blessing into eternal life you will be received.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing to be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248 on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 10am – 12pm. A prayer service will begin promptly at 10am.
