Anthony Joseph Palermo passed away on August 3, 2022. He was born on October 3, 1941 to Joseph and Frances Palermo in Chicago, IL. His wife, Barbara (Ryczek) Palermo lived across the street from his childhood home. Anthony (Tony) and Barbara were married for 59 years. They lived in the Chicagoland area for over 30 years, before moving to Florida and then Arizona.
Tony was a repairman/handyman his entire career. He worked for Sears for the majority of his career. Tony loved fixing things and was always looking for a new project to do. He was passionate about helping others and would work on anything. No project was too big or too small and he insisted on perfection on all work that he completed. He loved the challenge of taking on unfamiliar projects, always enthusiastic about learning a new skill or trade. He never asked for much in return, the satisfaction of helping others and a job well done being enough for him.
Tony is survived by his wife Barbara; daughters Christine (Warren) Semper and Francine Palermo; granddaughters Staci Semper, Danielle (Michael) Fiorino, Alicia Meier and Rebecca Meier; great grandsons Logan Fiorino and Colby Fiorino.
Funeral mass will be held on August 17, 2022 at 10:00 am. St Stevens Catholic Church, 24827 S Dobson Road, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248
