Anwar Shaw

Anwar was born on 9th May 1932 in Youngsonabad, Pakistan. He was the second youngest of eight children. After completing his education, he served in the government of Pakistan as an accountant for 38 years.

He married Parmila Anwar Shaw on 29th December 1958. He was blessed with four children from this union: Ghazala Mushtaq, Nadeem Shaw, Shazia Anthony, and Waseem Shaw. The family joined the Church of Pakistan and lovingly served the Lord, Jesus Christ. He immigrated to the United States in 2005 and here he was an active member of the United Indo-Pak Church.

In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports, his favorite was WWE wrestling. He loved blessing all his grandchildren whenever he met them. He was a source of joy and inspiration to his entire family.

Anwar Shaw is survived by his wife, Parmila Shaw and his children Ghazala Mushtaq and her husband Mushtaq Khalid, daughter-in-law Shareen Shaw, Shazia Anthony and her husband Robert Anthony, and Waseem Shaw and his wife Sadaf Shaw. His surviving sibling includes his sister Bimla Wilson. His grandchildren include Raza Mushtaq and his wife Zara Gill, Faryal Mushtaq, Nauman Shaw and his wife Sarah Shaw, Shumaila Shaw, Sheral Shaw, Solomon Anthony, Michelle Anthony, Mayra Anthony, Zachary Shaw, and Luke Shaw.

He is preceded in death by six siblings and his son, Nadeem Shaw.

Pallbearers will be Mushtaq Khalid, Robert Anthony, Waseem Shaw, Raza Mushtaq, Nauman Shaw, Solomon Anthony, Zachary Shaw, and Luke Shaw.

Visitation will be held at King Glory Church, 2085 E Southern Ave, Tempe. from 9-10 am MST and funeral service will be from 10-11 am. Burial service will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, AZ.
