Today we said goodbye to our Mom - Arleene Forgang. After a courageous battle over the past year she is finally at peace. Mom was an amazing and kind soul that lived a fulfilling life and was devoted to family and friends.
She was born in New York City and cemented friendships everywhere she resided, New Jersey, Maryland and Arizona. Raised four children and studied to become a Registered Nurse, loved working in the operating room, and in retirement enjoyed time on the board of East Valley JCC.
She also traveled the world and loved to be on a cruise ship. Mom was always there when someone was in need and she always treated friends like family. Today we mourn however we celebrate her life and the memories will remain in ours and the hearts of the many that love her. We can only say Thank You Mom for devoting your life to us! We love you!
Arleen is survived by her spouse, Lee Forgang; Her sons Jeff (Karen), Eric and Marc (Rachel). Her daughter Lisa (Chris), 5 grandchildren and her dog, Lacey.
Contributions in memory of Arleene can be made to Phoenix Children's Hospital, a special place in her heart.
A funeral service will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, located at 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.The service is scheduled for July 3, 2025, at 11:00.
