
Bernie Wolfin passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 79. Bernie was born in Seattle on August 21,1936 to Morris and Estelle Wolfin. He was a graduate of Garfield High School (54') and the University of Washington (58'). He had a passion for music and was a drummer in many bands throughout high school and college. He had a long career as a manufacturers rep selling luggage throughout the PNW. He also had a successful career in the Army Reserve and retired as a full Colonel after 30 years. With his wife Nancy of 29 years, they traveled many times to Hawaii and more recently to Australia and Italy. He had an intense love for golf. He played year-round in Phoenix and Seattle. He also maintained a large group of long-standing friends. He thoroughly enjoyed his time spent will all of them on and off the golf course. He always enjoyed time with his family for which he made a special trip to Seattle every year during the holidays to see them. He is survived by his wife Nancy, his daughter Leslie (Allen), son Jack (Susan), step daughter Kim and step son Duane (Diane) and his 7 grandkids Mitchell, Conor, Kylie, Nathan, Jake, Emilee and Dylan, his brother Gene (Jackie) and sister Carole. Funeral services for Bernie wereat Herzl Memorial Park in Seattle, Friday at 1:00PM.
