Bill D Harrison, 90, of Chandler, passed away at home June 29, 2017. He was born in Oklahoma to Howard and Beulah Harrison. Bill married the love of his life, Anna Mae, in 1967. He was a man of many accomplishments. From high school to the Navy in WWII, to going into business for himself as a watch repairman, to mastering the art of cutting beef, to joining the struggles of the grocery business, to once again going into business for himself, this time in the dry cleaning business. With this last endeavor, Bill became known for being one of the most friendly and successful entrepreneurs in El Paso Texas. He and Anna Mae decided to retire to Scottsdale; however he couldn't let go of his business drive. Seeing the perfect spot for a dry cleaning business, he built and ran a very successful one there. He and Anna Mae finally retired, to build a beautiful home in Sun Lakes, AZ. They entertained friends between their numerous cruises. Their trips took them all over the world, many times over, until Anna Mae's death in 2013. He continued his travels and cruises for the next several years. Bill was definitely a man who enjoyed life. He was preceded in death by son, Chip. He is survived by son Ron Forsythe (Joan), daughters Phyllis Williams (Dean) and Sherry Deutsch (Paul), 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter. A service will be held in Bill's honor at a later date.
