Tears ran from my eyes for hours today as I learned of your passing.  So saddened that I didn't know in time to celebrate your home going service.  One thing I am sure of, is that you knew my heart. You were a friend, mentor and boss. So young, full of life and always wanting the best for others. I love that you got me. I thought of you on our birthday weekend. I am so grateful  for the book you gave to me after our one of many heart to hearts and I will never forget your words of encouragement. There are many lives that you have touched in ways you probably never knew. I am glad that I told you what you meant to me. Miss Sonia will never forget you!

Jeff, I am very sorry to hear of your loss.  My thoughts are with you and your family.

I often think grief makes us do absurd things... like ask ourselves how or what we could have done differently to obtain another outcome. Although those thoughts won't go away anytime soon I can say without a doubt I am so blessed to have enjoyed Brandon's presence in my life for the past 2 years. Brandon was many things to me; mentor, boss, bro, stattman, and most importantly a friend. Not sure what gave Brandon that extra zest in life, quite possibly the 2 scoops of muscle milk in his oatmeal every morning; whatever it was, it touched so many people. Brandon brought people together like they were family and I will forever be thankful for that. He pushed me outside of my comfort zone and challenged me to accomplish some pretty RAD things. As I look back on our texts and listen to voicemails the last few days I can proudly say I told him pretty often how awesome he was. My favorite quite possibly being just a simple "thank you for being you". I will wear my Cloah McSmoah ninja bandana with pride and throw a few kicks to the sky for you my dude. I will cherish every inside joke 'lil diabeetus' especially on some of these dark coming days and hope all of his family and friends do the same.

I had the honor to meet Brandon while training at Discover in Phoenix.  He was one of those people who you liked immediately.  He had an easy smile and a friendly manner.  He helped make the 6 weeks I spent in Phoenix very enjoyable.  How sad to learn of his passing. You will be greatly missed my friend.

I was very blessed to have met Brandon after his interview for Discover and I'll never forget just how nervous he was when he shook my hand when my Team Leader introduced him to me. From that moment he became a friend at work that I enjoyed seeing everyday. He always made it a point to say hello to me every morning with his beautiful smile and he had the most welcoming and wonderful personality. You are missed dearly Statt. You will never be forgotten

Brandon recruited me for my first professional job at Discover, and he mentored me for my first professional year.  I treasure the lessons he taught me in leadership and navigating the business world.  He was a true friend and guide, and his impact on me will last forever.

There was standing room only at Brandon's memorial service yesterday in Chandler,AZ.  I guess that is no surprise to the people who met or knew Brandon.  Your light signs on Brandon. In your very short life on earth you made a remarkable spot in every one's heart. Peace be with you now.

I was very lucky to have Brandon as my first Team Leader at Discover. He was a great teacher and coach. He had an amazing ability to bring things down to the one important point that would make it perfectly easy to understand. I really admired him. Extending my sincere condolences to the Statt family. Thank you for having such an amazing son who was such a positive light to so many at Discover.

I'd like to express to Brandon's family and friends just how much he meant to me: I hired and mentored him at Discover, but in that relationship, I think I learned more from him than he did from me. He also became a very close friend as myself and my girlfriend were relatively new to Arizona at the time. We did races together, went to MMA fights together, and I will take from him his ability to connect with people and to have some much passion and excitement for what he does. He will be profoundly missed, and he should be applauded for creating a such a strong and lasting legacy in such a short time. Miss you Statt

I was so sorry to hear about Brandon's passing... It was a pleasure working with him & he truly made every day fun at Discover Home Equity... His smile was infectious & he was so full of tenacity & energy... I truly believe as the Bible says, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.". Although this is a very difficult time, we must remember his spirit lives on... Praying for the Statt family & friends.  God Bless!

Brandon-what a cute and funny little boy you were.  That's how I first came to know you.  You and my boys (Patrick and Michael) had so much fun together in the old neighborhood.  Your smile and laugh would light up the room.  Who knows the trouble that the three of you really got into (probably don't want to know either!).  Street hockey, swimming, birthday parties, your new pup Sabrina, sleep overs, Friday night flamingo parties and on and on!!  I loved you then.  I love you now.

B, you have done so much for me. Not only as an amazing mentor but friend. I would never be where I am if it wasn't for you, and I am sooo grateful to have known such a remarkable man. I know I told you many times but I wished you believed you could lead anyone into a line of fire. We all respected you and cherished you. I really wanted to cash in my raincheck, but I guess that day will come. I will always remember your maple oatmeal and protein scoop bowl and cup that I always had to clean since you would let it harden up if I didn't, and your amazing smile with those goofy aviator glasses. I hope to see you in my dreams soon. I love you B!

Brandon was my manager at Discover. He was also in my training class as a new hire. I first met him as a friend, it was amazing to get to know him. Once he became my manager he became a leader who was always there supporting us in every way possible. It was amazing to have had such a great boss, he was very understanding. His smile would honestly light up a room. He was very positive with us and encouraged us for success. I wish I could tell him what he did made a difference in my life. I hope he rest in paradise making a difference from up above.

I started with Brandon at Discover. He always had a smile on his face and lit up every room he walked in to. I only wish that he could have known the happiness and joy that he brought to others. Although I am crushed by his death, I'm so happy and thankful to have gotten to know him. It's tragic that sometimes the stars that burn the brightest are the ones that burn out far too early.

To the Statt family.  We just heard the news today and I wanted to express my deepest sympathy for you and your family.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this troublesome time.

I was privileged to know and work closely with Brandon for several years. I miss his bright smile and infectiously positive personalty.  I wish his family peace and my deepest condolences. If his Discover family can help please let me know.

Brandon was in my New Hire class, I trained him for 5 weeks. He contributed to the new hires by sharing his financial insight and staying engaged with the class-even though he knew some much-being just graduating from ASU. I am thankful for having the opportunity to work with Brandon and seeing his bight smiling face around the building-he made a difference.

Brandon you will and always will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I will miss you.  To infinity and beyond...
