Every Sunday as I open the door to play mah-jongg, there was Carol sitting looking at me with the most beautiful smile on her face.  We all will miss her!

My deepest condolences and prayer go out to Carol's family. She was   was one of the kindest, helpful volunteers here at the VA. She was such a joy to work with. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of our most treasured volunteers, Carol.

Thank you for your service and the continuing years to help veterans at SE Clinic. Carol brought not only experience and reliability, but also kindness, humility, and a genuine desire to help.
We are profoundly grateful for the years of service Carol gave to our Clinic. Their legacy of compassion and selflessness will not be forgotten, and they will always remain a part of our clinic family.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Carol’s family, friends, and all who knew and loved them.

Always willing to lend a hand out at the VA Clinic in Gilbert. Her spirit of tenacity (get it done) will be missed out here. I've known Carol as a Volunteer colleague for little over 16 years. Thank you for your Military Service and continued service to our Veterans. She has already likely heard the words "Well done good and faithful servant" My prayers to her family for strength at this time of heartfelt loss.

Dear Stacey, Michele and Shawn and Family.  I am so sorry for your loss .  Carol  had a  Pretty smile and a Love For Life!              I find it encouraging that one day soon our dead Loved ones will be awakened from their death and return to Life here on cleaned new Earth.  Where all will enjoy perfect happy lives forever!  This was the first couples purpose to begin with.                    I hope you all find this hope as encouraging as it has for me. Mom & I this past summer in North Dakota. We always had so much fun on her 3 week visits each year

GGMA (great grandma) meeting her first great grand child, Ollie. He lives in Norway so this was extra special getting to spend 3 weeks in AZ soaking in all the cuddles and giving GGMA a good workout holding and rocking me!

I got to celebrate my first mother’s day with my mom and my gma. A special day enjoying brunch at the clubhouse with all the beautiful ladies.

We will miss having you around for all the special events, Gma❤️

Of course at Grandmas she likes to keep all the old photos of the Grandchildren. We dug through some old family photos that brought a smile to everyone’s faces. One of my fondest memories with Grandma is when she used to babysit me, and we would spend hours playing monopoly. One game of 2 player Monopoly would be enough for most, but we would play 4-5 games in a row. I will always cherish these memories with her.

Hannah, Myla, and Seth were able to visit Grandma this last New Years Day. It was Grandmas  fist time getting to meet Myla in person after seeing all the photos. Us 4 spent the afternoon taking about Grandmas past and her challenges raising three young girls. I am so thankful we got to spend this afternoon with her, and will miss her dearly. ❤️

Carol and I shared many memories over the last 40 years.  She was like a sister with her grit, determination and radiant smile.  We worked together, raised our kids together, did road trips together and played together. Words with Friends was our game. I will never forget the night she, Deb and I down a full bottle of Kahlua!  I will miss her immensely!! Peace be with you, dear, dear friend.

Our last get together, but it was definitely a good one.  Until we meet again, my friend, fly high and watch over us.  You will be missed. 💔
