

Charles (Chuck) Phillip Emrhein, Jr., 62, of Maricopa, Arizona departed this life at home on March 24, 2026, after a brief illness. Chuck was born to parents Charles Phillip Emrhein, Sr., and Wanda Gaye (Tilson) Emrhein in Baltimore, Maryland on February 18, 1964.
After graduating from high school in 1982, Chuck proudly joined and served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He completed recruit training at Parris Island, South Carolina, and served as an Aviation Ordnance Technician He finished first in his class In A school training out of Boot Camp in Memphis, Tennessee. Chuck held assignments in El Toro, CA, Yuma, AZ, Naval Station San Diego for deployment on the U.S.S. Tarawa, Camp Pendleton, CA and a second deployment back to Yuma to complete his military career. During his service, he earned Good Conduct Medals, Meritorious Mast, Letters of Appreciation, Navy Unit Commendation, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Efficiency Award, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Rifle Expert Badge, and Pistol Marksman Badge, reflecting his dedication, professionalism, and pride in serving his country.
After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Chuck went to work for Weyerhaeuser Paper Company in Yuma AZ and began the transition from military structure to the civilian world. During this time, Chuck began his associate’s degree program in Business Management at Arizona Western College. Chuck pushed his potential and sought an opportunity to supervise the warehouse for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation/Yuma, AZ Desalination Facility for 6 years before seeking even more opportunities for his talent, skills and knowledge in logistic operations. Chuck found an opportunity with Ryan Herco Flow Solutions in Tempe, AZ initially as a Warehouse Manager and developed over the years to be the Distribution Manager for this ever-growing and changing company. Chuck had a steady work ethic, integrity, and genuinely cared for his colleagues.
Chuck was a loving father, grandfather, husband, brother and friend. He was compassionate, kind hearted, wise, and totally devoted to and proud of his loving family. He shared life lessons and wisdom to his children. Chuck’s interests were vast and he loved sharing life and traveling with his wife, Johanna; NASCAR (especially Dale Earnhart); NFL football; Elvis Presley; John Wayne; listening to music; reading; weather watching; history; antiquing all over Arizona for the special treasure. Chuck loved collecting items of nautical theme and pictures of the wild west and old advertisements.
Chuck is preceded in death by parents; maternal grandparents Arvil T. and Hester (Sexton) Tilson; and paternal grandparents Charles S. and Gertrude (Rappold) Emrhein; uncles, aunts and cousins.
He is survived by his extremely devoted wife, Johanna (Cook) Emrhein; his cherished daughter, Amber Emrhein and spouse Will Jenkins; his beloved son, Phillip Emrhein and spouse Torrey; beloved grandchildren Brodie and Maddie; sister, Cathy (Emrhein) Johnson and husband, Richard; mother of his children, Shari (Pierce) Emrhein; cherished rescued cats Smokey, Rocky and Mia; uncles, aunts and cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at Banner Desert Medical Center, Chandler Post Acute and Rehabilitation and Stillwater Hospice for their loving care and compassion.
A Celebration of life service will be held following an Aerial Salute. Military internment are incomplete at this time but will be scheduled at a later date at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery in Chandler, Arizona.

Chuck will be loved forever and deeply missed by family and friends. May his memory be cherished and eternal.
