Charles “Chuck” Henry Holder, 82, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away August 21, 2024. He was born in Foley, Alabama on July 7, 1942. After growing up in Alabama, he moved to Tularosa, New Mexico where he graduated high school and eventually joined the US Navy.
He was in the Navy for over 19 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He then went on to have a career at Boeing for 30 years. He was married to Blondell on August 13, 1966, and they were married for over 55 years prior to her passing in May of 2022.
Chuck had a passion for cars, old westerns, and most of all, his family. Chuck was one of the most generous people and he would give the shirt off his back to help someone. If you knew him, then you should consider yourself lucky as there is truly no one else like him.
Chuck is survived by his son, Ron Holder; his granddaughter, Brittany O’Neal; his sister, Barbara Mulliner; and his niece, Jamie Crosley.
