Daniel was raised in Idaho and went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Advertising from DeVry University. He married Angelica Lopez in Chandler, Arizona on May 4, 2024. Daniel had various careers in videography, real estate, education and marketing. He was a talented artist, director, videographer, Hwarang Do martial arts, bodybuilder, and marketer.
He is survived by his wife: Angelica Lopez; sons: Taejoon T. Shurtliff, Taesahn D. Shurtliff, and KyungTaek D. Shurtliff; mother: Melba Shurtliff; sisters: Robyn Hatch, and Cindy (Jeff) Hinman; along with the many loved ones he generously shared his home and life with.
