Darel Don Williams

Darel was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and step-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Michele Edison, his children, Darel Williams, Andrea Hyndman, and Anthony Bruce Williams, his step-children, Jennifer Cassavant, Michele Warren, and his grandchildren, Hattie Lea Williams, Nick Hyndman, Philip Pryor, Nicole Pryor, Joey Cassavant, Jessica Pollock, Jake Cassavant, and Karl Warren. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Williams, and his mother, Nadine Byrd.

Darel served in the United States Navy from July 1960 to May 1969. After his military service, he pursued a career as an engineer for Intel Corp in California and Arizona until 1990. He then worked as a consultant, assisting with the installation of computer systems.

Darel enjoyed being with people and had a passion for country/western dancing, music, cars, and football. He was a faithful member of St Benedict Catholic Church in Phoenix.

A funeral service will be held January 23rd at St Benedict Catholic Church, 16223 S 48th ST, Phoenix, AZ 85048, at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow at 527 W Rio Grande DR, Chandler at 1:00 PM. Internment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St Vincent de Paul in memory of Darel D. Williams.
