David Lawrence Petrushka

David L. Petrushka, 68, entered into rest on May 16, 2016. Beloved husband of Krissie Petrushka; dear father of Alyssa and James Petrushka; dear grandfather of Zane (Tatiana) Petrushka; dear brother of Bob (Gerrie) Petrushka and Dorothy (late Ronnie) Samler. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. David was a proud retiree of the Chandler, Arizona Fire Dept. Contributions to Chandler Firefighters Charities (www.chandlerfire.org) would be appreciated. Visitation 5 - 9 PM Friday, May 20, 2016 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, AZ 85248, where services will be held at 10:00 AM, Sat. May 21, 2016. Interment Valley of the Sun Cemetery. Dave will be remembered for his friendly demeanor and constant professionalism, both as a career firefighter, retiring as a Battalion Chief in 1995, then coming back to Chandler Fire and serving an additional 14 years in Fire Prevention, retiring in 2013.
