Dearest friend, I'm not able to express how much I miss you. We were introduced completely by chance and it was as though we'd always known each other.  Our love of our dogs, plants, craft fairs, flea markets, "doing lunch" and coffee addiction bound us together. You understood and accepted all my quirks and I did my best to do the same with you. 
Beau and Bella miss you. I'm doing my best to take care of them as well as you did.  They were the center of your life. 
It was amazing how you soldiered on through the pain of the arthritis and the ankle surgeries. 
I hope you are in a pain free place full of plants and Pitties!

Diane - Kind, funny, compassionate, generous, beautiful, sensitive, loving, puppy mom.  Just to name a few.  My heart still aches at your leaving us so suddenly and too soon.  Although we only "found" each other three years ago, the bond that you and I experienced was so unique and unexpected.  To develop a friendship on this level at our age was truly something special. I will cherish the multiple, daily 
e-mails, zooms and phone calls that had us laughing until we were sore.  So sorry we did not get to finally give each other that hug in person in January.  You have touched and changed my life in ways unexplainable.  Thank you for helping me write my book. I am sorry you never got to read it.  As we so often joked, we truly were sisters from parallel lives.  You will remain in my thoughts, my prayers, and my heart always. Until we finally meet...XXOO

Diane has been my friend for 36 years. I am heartbroken that she left us so unexpectedly. But I hold on to so many sweet, happy memories. We worked side by side for 7 years. It was our job and great pleasure to create lush gardens and desert landscapes at Marriott's Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley AZ.  Diane not only brought me joy in working with her but also in our friendship outside of work. We remained close friends throughout all the years we lived apart. She never missed sending Birthday and Christmas cards. Such a kind, thoughtful friend for so long.
Dear Diane, I am very grateful God gave us our friendship. I miss you and always will until we see each other again. May you be laughing, dancing and singing now. I love you, Deb

Diane,  it's so easy to be sad because we loved you so much and losing you has been a terrible shock to us, but I'm going to try to replace the sadness with happy memories that we had as kids, as a family, and as adults.  I'll remember good times and fun times we had. I will miss you everyday, until I see you again.  Love you. ❤ Mare
