

Dr. Don T. Manning, 91, of Prescott, Arizona passed away on February 27th, 2024. Don Theo was born on July 14th 1932 in Winters, Texas. After graduating from Glendale High School, Don Manning went on to study at the Phoenix College. Don Theo entered the Navy and was discharged as a Naval Dental Technician in 1953.
Don Manning, would then attend Arizona State University and graduate from Baylor University with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1959. After completion of education, Don began practicing dentistry, to where
Mr. Manning eventually opened his own dental practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Manning was married to Marjorie Sue Hansen. To where they first met was at Kenilworth Elementary School in the 1940’s. The two married in 1955, and went on to have five children, three daughters; Cindy Manning, Pam Johnson, Linda Markham, and two sons, Steven and David Manning.
The family holds lovingly eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Don and Marjorie were married for 57 years, working together, raising a family and sharing in many of the same interest, including traveling both domestically and abroad, golfing, ranching, and fishing. Two of their favorite places to reside with family and friends include Campbell River, B.C. and Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
Preceded in death by his loving wife Marjorie, Daughter Linda, and Son Steven.
Don was an avid Sun Devils fan. Don Theo was a Western and U.S. Military aficionado. Don Manning was known for his generosity and caring heart, with Dr. Manning contributing to many charitable causes. All that knew Don Theo Manning, will forever miss his remarkable sense of humor, love for exploring life, and the twinkle in his eye.
A celebration of life for Don will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
